Chinese Almond Tea

Therapeutic uses: Hydrates lungs and reduces congestion. Improves digestion and relaxes the bowels. Helps to prevent cancer, especially lung and intestinal. Removes toxic elements from the body.

Sweet almond is considered mild and non-toxic in nature and can be taken with tea regularly. Bitter almond has very little toxicity as well, but should not be used every day.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs Sweet Almonds
  • 1 tsp Green Tea
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Wash sweet almonds in cold water and smash into pieces.
  2. Put green tea into a cup.
  3. Put almond pieces into a sauce pan and pour in 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat and bring to a boil. Pour the mixture over the green tea.
  4. Cover cup and allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes before serving.

How to Store:

To store Chinese Almond Tea, keep any leftover tea in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop, stirring occasionally to maintain its creamy consistency.
