Ingredients

- 1 fully ripened avocado from Mexico halved, pitted and peeled
- 1 tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tbs minced onion
- 1 tsp minced jalapeño pepper
- 1 tbs minced cilantro
- 1 tbs mayonnaise (optional, but prevents browning)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mash avocado with a fork or potato masher to make a slightly chunky mixture.
- Stir in lime juice, onion, jalapeño, mayo and salt.
- Serve with chips and salsa.
