Flax Pizza Crust

Flax Pizza Crust is a diabetic friendly dish. It’s made with whole ingredients that are actually good for you, which isn’t always the case with low carb store bought products which usually have all kinds of chemicals and fillers in them to make them taste and feel authentic. Not this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 24 Tbsp. flax seed meal
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 packet SweetLeaf Stevia Plus® Sweetener SweetLeaf Stevia

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together.
  3. Add wet ingredients, and mix well.
  4. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
  5. Spread on greased pan or oiled unbleached parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Add toppings of choice and return to oven to cook through.
