If you love a classic Cuban sandwich, you’re going to love this Pizza Cubano. It takes everything that makes a Cubano so memorable—tender roast pork, smoky ham, Swiss cheese, tangy pickles, and mustard—and transforms it into a fun, family-friendly pizza that’s packed with bold flavor. It’s the perfect recipe when you’re in the mood for pizza but want to try something a little different. Every bite combines the crispy crust you love with the unmistakable flavors of one of the most iconic sandwiches ever created. Inspired by the traditional Cubano, this pizza captures the same delicious combination of savory, tangy, and cheesy flavors in a whole new way.

One of the things I enjoy most about this recipe is how easy it is to put together, especially if you have leftover roast pork. Layer the pork with sliced ham and Swiss cheese, then bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is perfectly melted. Finish it with dill pickles and a drizzle of mustard, and you’ve got a pizza that’s loaded with flavor and just the right balance of richness and tang. It may sound unusual if you’ve never had a Cuban-inspired pizza before, but the combination works surprisingly well and is guaranteed to spark conversation around the dinner table.

This is also a great recipe for pizza night because it’s easy to customize. Add extra Swiss cheese if you’re a cheese lover, use homemade mojo pork for even more authentic Cuban flavor, or sprinkle on a little fresh parsley after baking for a pop of color. Serve it with a simple green salad, crispy plantain chips, or a bowl of black bean soup for a complete meal that’s both comforting and unique.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of Cuban sandwiches or just enjoy experimenting with creative pizza toppings, Pizza Cubano is a recipe worth trying. It’s easy enough for a weeknight dinner, fun enough for game day, and different enough to become a new family favorite. Once you taste the combination of savory meats, melted cheese, tangy pickles, and mustard on a crispy pizza crust, you’ll be looking for another excuse to make it again.
