Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups Water or Broth
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (optional)
  • 1 cup Golden Couscous
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter or Oil

 

Instructions

Basic Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring water or broth and salt (optional) to a boil in a medium pot. Add couscous and butter or oil (optional). Stir, cover, remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff well with a fork and serve.
As a Cereal
  1. Add 1 cup couscous to 2 cups hot milk and 2 tablespoons butter. Cover, let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with toppings such as honey, maple syrup, nuts and fruit.
