Creamy Prosciutto & Pasta

Prosciutto — air-dried Italian ham — combined with Parmesan cheese is a classic pasta topping. Super Yummy and simple to make at home!! Sure, there are many Prosciutto pasta recipes, but you may want to stake claim over this one. When in Rome, pasta is always cooked until it is al dente.

Serve this creamy pasta dish with a fresh garden salad and some homemade crusty Homemade French Baguettes, fresh baked French Bread or some super tasty Ciabatta Bread.

Instructions

  1. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large sauce pan, add a generous amount of olive oil and heat. Once hot, sauté garlic until lightly browned.
  3. Add in prosciutto and quickly heat for a minute with garlic.
  4. Pour in cream, add pesto, cheese, fresh pepper and allow mixture to come to a low boil and thicken.
  5. Remove from heat and add in 3/4 of the spinach and mix well.
  6. Top pasta with sauce and garnish with remaining spinach. Enjoy!
