- 1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups skim milk
- 1/2 cup dried porcini mushrooms, broken into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon freshly chopped Italian parsley
Instructions
- Place olive oil in a large saucepan. Heat and add flour. Cook the flour 1-2 minutes until it just begins to turn brown.
- Slowly whisk in milk. Bring to boil and immediately turn to low.
- Add porcini. Cook until thickened. Taste and add salt, pepper and parsley.
